A Mother-Daughter Duo

Being a stay-at-home mother for many years allowed author Deborah Griewski to share in all aspects of her three children growing up years in a small rural community in the heart of the US, South Dakota. All three children were active in sports, scouting clubs, and church activities, and Deborah was the leader for many of the clubs. Once they were all in school, she got a job assisting teachers, a job that eventually led to her desire to get her own Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. It was after her daughter went to school to become a graphic artist and web designer, Deborah decided to fulfill her lifelong dream of writing a children's book, with her daughter as illustrator. "Bebop's Hungry Adventure" is the fulfillment of that dream. The book turned out so well, that the mother-daughter duo is planning a second installment of animals that live in the quaint Caribbean Island of Bequia. Deborah lives in South Dakota with her husband who runs his own water well drilling and excavation business. Deborah is currently an elementary teacher in a small rural school on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Indian Reservation.

Illustrator Alonna Denney lives in Omaha, Nebraska where she is a web an UX designer, graphic artist, and free-lance graphic pencil artist. Alonna coaches fitness classes in her free time, while filling the rest of her time with yoga, her dog Sage, music and spending time with her husband.
